Ghostwriter for Your Book

Imagine how your book could touch and change lives.

I am thrilled that you want to write a book!

I can help you by writing the parts you don’t have time to or feel confident tackling.

Each of us has training and experience in our own field.  Our work makes sense to us, but trying to help someone else understand and get excited about it too means that we have to be able to express it with the right words.

A neurosurgeon may be able to perform intricate work on nerves and muscles, but may struggle to write a book that inspires medical students to become neurosurgeons.  An engineer may know how to design complex machinery, but may not be able to create an instructional manual that isn’t tough to get through.

Writing a book that fascinates your readers needs both the “spark of inspiration” that YOU provide as well as the ability to transform that spark into an “impassioned narrative.”

This is where a ghostwriter can make the difference between a book that flies off the shelf and one that sits there and collects dust.

Follow these Steps to get a Ghostwriting QUOTE for your Book or EBook:

  1. Email and let me know what stage you are in: Have an idea, but haven’t started writing yet; Have a basic outline; Have a few notes; Have lots of notes; Some chapters are written; Most of the chapters are written; Need Editing; Need Proofreading, Need help marketing my book.  Just email me at hi.impactghostwriting@gmail.com.
  1. Tell me who your target audience is. In other words, who will be reading your book?
  1. Tell me what you are trying to accomplish with your book. How are you trying to help your audience?  Are you trying to persuade them to change in some way?  Are you just sharing your experiences or passions?  Are you teaching a concept or skill?  Are you just trying to enrich their lives somehow?
  1. Jot down a basic outline of what you want to write about.  Attach any details in the form of scribbled notes, Word files or lists of key points.  If you have any chapters written, include at least one chapter so that I can get a feel for your writing style. If your book will rely on outside resources, also include a few links to any source material you want referenced so that I know how in depth you want your book to be.
  1. Let me know if you have an estimated date for finishing your book. Based on how much ghostwriting, editing and proofreading work needs to be done, as well as my own schedule, I will either agree to that deadline, or counter-propose a different date.  Some publishers insist on certain deadlines.  I will do my best to accommodate your publisher.
  1. Your ghostwriting book project will be done in sections—broken into either chapters or parts of chapters.  This way, you can critique and make changes as we go along.  I want to write what you are trying to say.  I want to reflect your personality and style.  This is YOUR book, not mine. (As a ghostwriter, my name does not appear anywhere in your book and I get no credit for helping you write it.  My goal is for you to get your message out loud and clear.)
  1. You are entitled to 2 edits per chapter—one edit after I send you what I have written, and a final edit. If you want to make changes that exceed 600 words or if you are adding more than 600 words, there is an extra charge.
  1. Once we email back and forth a few times and I understand your expectations for your book, I will email you a quote. If it is acceptable, all you need to do is sign and date the quote and email it back to me.  I’ll start right away on your book.
